GAME AUDIO DEVELOPMENT DEMOS
Here you can find a selection of my music and sound for game demos. Developing worlds and moods through sound is so rewarding in games and have loved unlocking the skills needed to do this.
AirWiggles Asteroid ImplemenTournament
This is my first time using Unreal and Metasound. It was so fun working this out, trying out different sounds and what does and doesn’t work. Thanks to the Airwiggles team for creating this competition! All the sound design and music is my own. I was going for a kind of Wipeout feel but much more rough and industrial! You can download the game and test it out here.
Wwise and Unity Implementation and creative process
Below is a demonstration of my music and sound creation and implantation with Wwise. Rather than just learning how to implement audio into Wwise and Unity I decided to treat this process like I was a one person audio department, creating the music, sound and implementation in the game. This helped me grasp an understanding of how music can be adaptive within the game, and focus on the world building of the sound design.
Dearest, Susan.
A 48 hour game jam I worked on halloween 2024. I created the music and all original sound design. I worked on making the story concept which was then developed beautifully by the writer Weena Young. Due to time constraints the storyline wasn’t properly tied to the game mechanics and the dynamic music couldn’t be implemented in time either, but the mood of the style and music gives an insight to the horror!
You can play the demo here.
Below is the music in full form, some of which didn’t get used.
